The Smoky Mountains boast several beautiful, unique, and popular waterfalls. Some of the notable ones include:

Grotto Falls: Known for its unique setting
behind the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, it is the only waterfall in the
Great Smoky Mountains National Park that visitors can walk behind. There are
only 17 parking spots as of this printing at the trailhead, so early in the morning
is a wonderful time to head here!

Rainbow Falls: Named for the rainbow
produced by the mist on sunny days, this waterfall cascades 80 feet and is one
of the park’s tallest.

Laurel Falls: A popular destination due to
its easy accessibility via a paved trail, this 80-foot waterfall is stunning
year-round. The total round trip is 2.6 miles.

Abrams Falls: Though not as tall as some
others, this waterfall makes up for it with its impressive volume and scenic
surroundings.

Ramsey Cascades: As the tallest waterfall
in the park, Ramsey Cascades is a challenging hike but rewards adventurers with
breathtaking views of its 100-foot drop.

These waterfalls offervisitors a chance to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains and are must-see destinations for nature lovers and photographers alike.
